ORGANIZED 1934

For many years revivals and church services were held sporadically at the old Fielden School house and the Good Hope School house that touched the spiritual needs of this community. In September 1934, the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church was organized. Visiting churches at the meeting were Mill Springs & Pleasant Grove. In 1972 the educational building was added. The church has been faithfully served by thirteen pastors. Three of the pastors became missionaries: G.C.Puckett; Elmer Carter; and John A. Poe.
